BoilerMag Launches Central Heating System Cleaner and Treatment Range

The latest update to the Part L Building Regulations recommends installing a magnetic boiler filter to a new or refurbished central heating circuit to help maintain efficiency and reliability of a system. To maintain optimum system health, look no further than BoilerMag’s advanced range of heating System Treatment Chemicals.

Central Heating System Protector

BM1 is the Boilermag Central Heating System Protector – it’s a tried and tested formula used in over a million properties in the UK alone. It was developed by one of the world’s leading chemical processing companies to be as effective, and most importantly, as safe as possible to cut out adverse effects traditionally associated with similar products.

BM1 is Borate (a group of known carcinogens), Nitrate and Phosphate (damages pump bearings) free and provides long-lasting protection for all leading boiler types, including Aluminium Heat Exchangers. Not to mention, the BM1 heating system protector goes a long way – just one 500ml package provides sufficient protection for a 10 radiator/100 litre system. BM1 is also BuildCert approved in accordance with Part L of the Building Regulations.

The BM3 Central Heating System Cleaner is a world-class cleaning formula, developed by one of the world’s leading chemical companies to give exceptional results. The BM3 formula is entirely phosphate-free, ensuring the health of pump bearings. The premier formula in the central heating system cleaner is also fast acting and works to remove not only iron oxide but limescale also. BM3 is for use in accordance with BS7593:2006 and is compatible with all flushing equipment.

Similarly to the BM1, the BM3 provides excellent usage, with a single 500ml bottle providing treatment for a 100 litre system. Application of BM3 is simple too, the system can even be left running during cleaning.
Both products are ideally used with a BoilerMag magnetic filter in order to maximise heating efficiency. BM1 and BM3 are both Benchmark certified from the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council.

The Importance of a Premium Range

The premium nature of the central heating system cleaner and protector range is important – using sub-standard chemical treatment will lead to a build-up of scale and magnetite and subsequent problems such as;

• Inefficient boiler performance
• Excessive energy costs
• Premature boiler failure
• Regular maintenance and repair costs
• Corroding radiators leading to pin-hole leaks
• Leaking and noisy pumps
• Radiator cold spots
• Excessive boiler noise

The BoilerMag range also includes BoilerMag featuring the largest magnet on the market, BoilerMag XT, BoilerMag XL, the BoilerMag Electrolytic Scale Reducer and the BM Water Testing Service.
