Klart Vann uses Industrial BoilerMag XT to Rescue Customer’s Heating System

Norwegian water quality specialists Klart Vann, in conjunction with Gasskompetanse, has recently rescued a customer’s heating system after a boiler breakdown. Poor water quality was identified as a contributing factor to the breakdown, and needed to be cleaned up as quickly as possible.

Improving Water Quality

In order to provide immediate and lasting protection for the heating system, a BoilerMag XT was installed, and the facility was able to operate until the water quality improved and more improvements to the system could be made. The BoilerMag XT started to clean up the system straight away, preventing the further build-up of ferrous oxide and removing unwanted debris from the system. The high intensity rods in the filter effectively captured even the smallest particles, which soon built up!

Contamination Collection

Gasskompetanse and Klart Vann also developed a mobile cleaning machine that efficiently tackles cleaning and flushing of larger water-borne plants. The cleaning machine was connected to the plant, together with the system cleaning chemicals, as well as corrosion inhibitor chemicals and a retrofitted vacuum vent. The BoilerMag XT industrial heating system filter will, of course, continue to collect contamination and keep the system clean in the future.

Efficient Heating System
