BoilerMag Introduces New Water Quality Testing Service
Eclipse Magnetics, has enhanced their Boilermag water treatment range with the launch of the BoilerMag Water Quality Testing Service.
Knowing detailed information about the water in a heating system is vital to ensuring the correct course of action is taken when system maintenance is performed, giving sufficient information to aid in maintaining optimum heating efficiency.
Water Quality Testing Service
Our fast, hassle-free water testing service provides vital data for installers, contractors and facilities management companies. The data ensures that optimum treatment programmes can be implemented, thereby protecting the boiler and enhancing heating system performance.
The Water Testing Service enables engineers to simply collect a small sample of water from both a radiator on the system and a tap to test the standard water quality in the area. The samples are then placed in a freepost package and sent to a specialist laboratory for advanced optical and chemical testing techniques to provide a report, giving information on:
• Levels of scale build up
• Presence of contaminants such as iron, copper, aluminium, sodium and zinc
• Levels of corrosion inhibitor present
• Analysis of acidity, alkalinity and conductivity
• Water hardness and appearance
The resulting report identifies water quality risks and provides recommendations regarding future treatments, such as system flushing and chemical treatments.
The Heating Expert, Paul Knight – the UK’s number one rated heating engineer says; “BoilerMag’s range of residential and commercial magnetic filters are second to none and the system chemicals are really top-notch. The water testing service is already proving invaluable as an aid. The process is fast and painless, and helps us determine the best course of action when equipping a BoilerMag and dosing the system with chemicals, as well as letting us know as engineers whether the system requires flushing.”
The Water Test Service is backed by a NAPIT audited helpline on 0845 880 60 50.
Pick up a test kit from a BoilerMag retailer, then send your water sample to our associate laboratory.
