Now in its eighth year, the Tomorrow’s FM Awards honour the most exciting and innovative products and services that have had the biggest impact on the industry over the past year. The shortlist has been chosen from a list of reader nominations and editor’s picks, and this year includes the BoilerMag XT.

Recognition as an Innovative and Exciting Product

BoilerMag National Sales Manager Craig Worth said: “We are very pleased that the BoilerMag XT has been shortlisted for this years’ Tomorrow’s FM Awards. The BoilerMag XT is a high performance, high quality filter for larger heating and cooling systems with an excellent position in the market. We are delighted that it has been recognised as an innovative and exciting product by Tomorrow’s FM readers and hope that fans of the product will vote for its winning place in the final.”

The Tomorrow’s FM Awards 2019 Guide will be produced in the run up to Christmas, listing all the award entries for the consideration of the voters. A public vote will open in January, once the guide has been published, and will close in March. The top three winners will then be presented with a trophy later in the year.

BoilerMag XT High Performance Filter

industrial boiler filterThe BoilerMag XT high performance filter provides lasting protection for larger heating and cooling systems. The unit has been carefully engineered to effectively prevent the build-up of ferrous oxide and scale in central heating systems. Powerful magnetic circuits combined with optimised fluid flow dynamics ensure that virtually every particle of magnetite (sludge) is removed on the first pass through the filter, thereby improving efficiency and protecting system components.

The BoilerMag XT is available in sizes to fit 2” up to 12” pipes and PN16 flanges, and has an operating pressure of up to 12 bar. Its large collection capacity means that it can be installed in a variety of larger buildings including factories, offices, hospitals and schools. With powerful magnets and premium quality manufacture, the unit can extract ultrafine particles, and can be cleaned easily during the normal system routine service.

There are many benefits to installing the filter in large heating systems, for example, a reduction in energy bills, an increase in the life of the boiler, and a reduction in maintenance call outs. The BoilerMag XT also comes with a 10 year warranty.
